ÖffiGo aims to spot delays earlier.
Normal realtime is reactive — it only shows a delay once the vehicle is already stuck. The ÖffiGo prototype combines vehicle positions with current road traffic on the route ahead to test better arrival predictions.

GPS projected onto the schedule path: the real delay right now, even when the feed still says “on time”.
2 · Forecast — what's coming
Remaining time scaled by live traffic on exactly the segments ahead — an earlier estimate of the arrival time.

Bus & tram only — trains and the subway ignore road traffic and stay on the operator feed. And when confidence is too low, ÖffiGo says so honestly instead of inventing a wrong time.

Not every network provides realtime — the Vienna subway, for one, is schedule-only. ÖffiGo never dresses a schedule up as live. You always know whether a time is a realtime feed or a planned departure.

Good to know
When does ÖffiGo launch?
ÖffiGo is in active development and launching on the App Store and Play Store soon — iOS and Android together. The fastest way to hear first is the waitlist; you'll also get the extra code for a double trial plus 15% off.
Which areas and modes does it cover?
All of Austria. Data comes from Verkehrsauskunft Österreich (VAO / HAFAS) and covers tram, bus, train, S-Bahn, subway, cableway and ship.
Is the data really live?
Where the network provides it, yes — realtime delays, platform changes and disruptions. ÖffiGo labels this honestly: some networks (e.g. the Vienna subway) only publish a schedule, and the app shows that instead of pretending it's live.
Does the AI send my data to a server?
ÖffiGo AI runs on-device with Apple Intelligence on supported iPhones. Your transit questions stay on your phone.
What does it cost?
The core app is free. ÖffiGo Pro is planned at €2.99/month (or €19.99/year) — the price may still change before release. Pro unlocks AI, Live Activities and widgets. The first 100 on the waitlist get a double trial plus 15% off the first month at launch — I'll send the code by email.
Is there an Android version too?
Yes. ÖffiGo launches for iOS and Android together. The iOS app is built natively in SwiftUI, and the Android version ships at release — both feel like the system, not a wrapper.
