What does ÖffiGo cost?
Nothing during the beta, every feature is free. What applies after the beta is not decided yet.
How do I get into the beta?
Through the form below. The beta runs closed on TestFlight for iPhone. Signing up is a request for a later place, not a promise. When one opens up, you get an email.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Android development is currently paused, so for now ÖffiGo is iPhone only.
Where does the app work?
Across Austria, for bus, train, tram, metro and S-Bahn. Search and routes come from Verkehrsauskunft Österreich. In Vienna the city's open realtime data is added, in Styria that of the Styrian transport information service.
Are the times live?
Wherever the operator reports realtime, yes. Every departure says where its time comes from. Where nobody reports realtime, you see the timetable.
Do I need an account?
No. If you agree, the app sends ÖffiGo anonymous counts, such as how often a connection was searched that day. No locations, no stops, no device ID. You can switch it off any time in Settings.
Who makes ÖffiGo?
Johannes Grof, as a school project. Verkehrsauskunft Österreich supports it with access to its services.
